Dr. Phillip Agredazywczuk
Phillip Agredazywczuk joined the University of Bern in 2025 to develop an innovative preconcentration measurement system for analysing nitrous oxide (N2O) isotopes using Quantum Cascade Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (QCLAS) within the HighNITRO project. His research focuses on enhancing measurement precision and accuracy, ultimately contributing to more reliable global N2O budget calculations. Previously, he worked at the Swiss Data Science Center (SDSC) from 2023 to 2025 on the N2O-SSA project, where he focused on instrument development and programming application, data science and machine learning for isotopic and N2O flux data interpretation. Phillip completed his PhD in Environmental Science at the University of Reading in 2023, focusing on nitrogen cycling in nitrate-polluted wetlands.
